To determine the maturity of the scar, press onto the scar and observe how long it takes for the scar to redden.

The standard time for the scar to redden is around 3 seconds.

The shorter the time, the less mature the scar is.

1. If the scar reddens in less than one second (usually within one month): The scar is not yet mature. Apply the product onto clean and dry scar with a gentle touch. Apply onto and around the scar, gently pressing with the index finger along the scar.

2. If the scar reddens in 1 to 2 seconds: Perform a pinch and roll massage with the thumb and index finger along the scar. Gently hold the skin between your fingers and move it upwards. Do this until the product is fully absorbed (around 5 minutes).

3. If the scar reddens after 3 seconds (generally 3 months after the procedure): The scar is mature. Massage the scar by stretching it to avoid widening. Use your index finger and middle finger until the product is fully absorbed (around 5 minutes).
