Description

Element and Element Neo Test Strips are for use with Element and Element Neo blood glucose self-monitoring systems respectively for a quantitative measurement of glucose in freshly drawn capillary blood.

• The test strip automatically absorbs blood by capillarity;

• Reduced blood sample;

• Easy application of blood to the test strip;

• The Element and Element Neo system is calibrated with plasma, allowing for comparison of results with laboratory methods.

Instructions for Use

• Store the strip packaging in a cool, dry place (2-30ºC). Keep it away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze;

• Store the test strips in their original packaging. Do not mix them with other test strips;

• Close the lid of the package immediately after removing a test strip;

• Use the test strip as soon as you have removed it from the packaging;

• Do not use the strips after their expiration date. This may result in inaccurate results;

• Check the expiration date on the strip packaging label when it is opened. Discard unused test strips after 6 months of opening;

• Avoid getting the test strips dirty or wet. Do not handle them with wet hands;

• Do not bend, cut, or alter the strips;

• The strips are for single use only. Do not reuse them;

• Do not perform tests at temperatures below 10ºC and above 40ºC or with a humidity level below 10% or above 90%;

• Keep the strip code label clean at all times;

• Dispose of the test strips carefully to prevent infection.
