Dry and irritative cough, is sometimes induced by inflammation in the oropharynx, irritation in the pharynx, larynx and upper respiratory tract, or has an allergic origin.
The treatment usually consists of using antitussives that act on the cough center, reducing the nerve impulses that cause the cough. Plantil acts on both mechanisms: licorice acts on the cough center and plantain on the mucosa of the oropharynx. Plantil does not contain sugar or flavorings.
