Thealoz Duo is a sterile aqueous ophthalmic solution, without preservatives, hypotonic and with neutral pH. Its main components are trehalose, a disaccharide present in many plants and animals, and sodium hyaluronate, a polysaccharide naturally present in the eye. The physicochemical characteristics of trehalose provide protective, antioxidant and moisturizing properties.
